Handmade fiber sculpture in a beautiful wood bowl, 6"x6"x6"
The colorful piece mimics an ecosystem such as a succulent garden or coral reef. The piece is tactile and looks alive. Petting your pouf feels so good and is great way to reduce stress! At only $95, it is much cheaper than therapy.
If you purchase online, the one you get will be a wonderful surprise (and may not be pictured as inventory changes but will be similar to those shown)
Artist Statement:
I create fiber-based sculptures that explore organic form, color, and texture. Using hand-wrapped wool, I construct dense, tactile shapes that are carefully trimmed and sculpted before being placed into reclaimed wood vessels such as driftwood, teak bowls, and cork bark.
My practice is rooted in contrast: soft fiber against solid wood, vibrant color against neutral grain, playful texture within structured forms. The wooden bases act as both frame and foundation, grounding the sculptural wool forms while highlighting their dimensional quality.
I am inspired by botanical growth, coral reefs, sea anemones, and imagined micro-landscapes. Each piece feels like a small ecosystem — something discovered rather than assembled.
Through repetition and layering, I transform simple materials into intricate surfaces. My goal is to elevate fiber into sculptural territory, creating work that feels tactile, surprising, and alive.
